All of the designs below were described to me over the phone or drawn on a bit of paper, popped in an envelope, stamped and posted to me.

Of course I needed my clients exact measurements to adjust Betty to the right size to be certain of a perfect fit. Betty is my dressmakers dummy and we've been through thick and thin together ;)

All you need is a tape measure preferably a fabric one, and with a bit of help from me over the phone (I can always call you back, I've lots of minutes and not many friends ;)) and depending on what you're after having made, I can help guide you where you need to be measured. I was joking about the not many friends but the measuring part, it is quite an important part of having a custom made outfit. I'd hate to think I'd sat and sewn, boned, hemmed and then glued on 5000 rhinestones to find it didn't fit, and I'm not even the one wearing it. So sizing is really important.
